all though not perticuallry strong, the floor pans made out of like cool OLD road signs would be pretty awesome....but then again if you did that, you would have to have a roof rack, and stack it with random tat, which looks so cool
and as blankmange said donor car, or type3detectives in the uk do floors, and parts of pans |

They're the closest fit you'll get of the current repop stuff. That's what I have in my '65 notch. The guy had to do some extra work, but they look OK. _________________

Yeah, the key is "extra work". Seems to me fabricating a patch panel would be better, easier, and cheaper. _________________ West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943) |

If it is just the battery area, CIP1 sells a battery tray for T-3. If it is more than that, Then T-1 Ghia, or Thing pans are close. When doing a complete pan half from a Ghia, It is the front footwell area that is not right. _________________ Society is like stew. A ghias pan doesnt fit at all. It requires fabrication to fit. A little work for the experianced, a lot of work for the inexperianced. A pain in the ass either way. your best bet is to get donor metal from another car, if not then good luck. _________________ -Bryan

Serious?!? This is as far as you all have gotten??? So how does one fix there floor in there type 3 then? honestly I had expected more from this sticky! Combine a ghia and thing pan??? That sounds like a horrible idea.
So I have just recently picked up a 66 square that is going to need pans. I could patch them up, but I feel like the rest of the pan will be too thin. So I'd like new or OE or a suitable a replacement strategy. Have any of you t3 people made your own complete pan? that would be awsome if an enthusiest was repop'n them
If so how did you like it?
Or, do I honestly need to combine the previously mentioned ghia and thing pan to get something solid and suitable?
Any more help would be great. So far I feel like this sticky is lacking substance. And, I'd like more answers.
I am sure you understand. Thanks in advance for your insight.
