That seat doesn't belong in an SO44. Are you getting rid of the SO44 interior? |

I'm going to make a large pit seating area in the back. I had a SO44 westy for almost 20 years and hated camping out of it. They are a little cramped. I just bought the bus back and want to make it a people mover.
I'd trade a SO44 headbanger for the bench. I might get rid of the kitchen and closet. _________________ '66 Westfalia SO44

What is the difference between a left hand and righ hand handle? I'm gonna assume if the push button is on the right, its a RH?
I need one for mirror closet door, lower z bed door, rear closet cabinet door and little cubby behind the jump seat door.
thanks

AFAIK it's the side you slip your fingers into when the button is oriented at the top.

I need the tall westy tent mount to replace my broken one.
I have a cargo net cup hook OR a cabinet door closure to trade. The cup hook has the washer and I think will clean up nicely. I think the washer will separate from the hook for cleaning. The screw is a bit crusty but I think a dab of glue will hold it in. I've never seen one for sale so value is ?
The cabinet door closure is nice, and moves freely. Thanks.

Months late to your question, and it isn't a "trade", but just wanted to let you know that there's an English Company that is making/providing a lot of components for some of the Westfalia models (a lot of things for SO-42s).
Here's a Spice Rack:

...and here is the site its self:

We bought our SO-42 rear curtain rods (perfect reproductions) from them a couple years back. _________________ ----------------------------------------------------------

I'm hearing crickets on my offer above to trade for a tall tent mount. I have other SO23 parts like cabinet doors if someone has an interest. The tall tent mounts don't seem to be that rare, but none out there currently available (other than a set). Thanks. |

That could be easily fixed by a welder that does aluminum. Take the tent pole that fits into it. Aluminum does not like to stick to steel, so having the pole inserted while welding will help form the hole you want in the tent mount. Then file down and polish up with sandpaper. _________________ In Stereo, Where Available! |

I am looking for SO-23 items. I need a rear facing bench base, pads and bar. What not cabinet and table.. I have a EZ Sundial tent to trade. It has all poles top and side. I made brackets that quickly attach to roof rack that will come with. Let me know if interested. I can bring to OCTO or El Prado.. pic does not have top installed

Looks like I have the wrong table leg on my cargo door. After doing some reading, I have the 67 only leg, in need of the 66 and earlier one pictured on my ice box...anyone want to trade?
I also have various other so42 bits to trade if you don't need the 67 only leg.
Thanks!
Eric

Maybe they ran out of the early style at Weidenbruck that day and moved forward with the new style starting with your bus. _________________ RPM=(MPH*336* (R&P*4th*1.26))/Tire Diameter in inches |
