I recently discovered that my digital clock actually works great if I feed 12 volts to pin 5 of the instrument cluster connector. That's the clock one according to Bentley. However, I am not getting any juice at all from that wire.
It's a red wire that heads off under the radio and disappears somewhere... Ignition switch maybe? I'd hate to think a PO went snipping wires randomly... _________________ Tennessee Sombrero

I don't have my Bently in front of me right now, but were does that red wire (from pin 5 of the connector) go TO? It is that simple to look at the wiring schematic and trace that red pin 5 wire.
I do know that the digital clock is on all the time (key out), so your assumptions are on track. A guess might be to the same lead ad the cigarette lighter. Again, I don't have the Bentley wire diagram in front of me. |

Look at the plugs on the back of the radio, The wire runs off of that. _________________ Markus |
