My new best friend is a '67 Fastback, generally rust in color and inop. - but I hope to fix that in the coming years ...

Im the owner of a 72 squareback. It's my first VW but I'm not new to them. My pops owns a 57 bug, 72 super, and a 71 notch. And my brother owns a 74 super and a 70 ghia. I'm 26 and in Texas.

20yrs old in Perth, Western Australia.

I'm only the third owner of my '72 Notchback. I got it about six months before I finished highschool or even had my license and was my daily driver for over three years.

First car was a '71 Squareback in HI, as were my next 2 after that ('69,'69).
Always owned a VW, been driving a MK IV Jetta TDI Wagon for the last 8 years.
I've been out of aircooled for about 20 years... when I reluctantly sold my almost rust free '56 single cab.
Back in it now with a rustbucket '64 Notch and clean but bare '67 Square projects.

My dad bought me a 55 vert in 1968 for $300.00. I'm the second owner and still have it! Boy, if that car could talk! (maybe better that it can't)
My driver is a 65 sqbk, with a 2161, that I've had for 20 years and counting.

58 Married Airline Pilot with two Squares..... 72 and a 73.
Was out of aircooled for twenty years , then got smarter and bought one , then another.
Havent had this much fun driving in a long time although its getting to be snow and salt season so it will be time to put them away.
