I got this out of a buddys bus, i dont know what its for, ive ask some vw upolstry shops and they dont know either, it has all the makings of vw bus stuff, material, paint, correct horsehair...

That item was offered for owners with kids. They could use the divder to mark their seat territory rather than using the imaginary line that is normally used by feuding kids.
