X2.
And I like the ragtop. It hasnt been butchered. A little low for me, but who cares. Definately looks good. I just lowered my all stock oval and put a 1776 in it. Much better driving car now. _________________ 60 Rock Grey Vert |

My wife has owned the vert for a couple years or so..it was lowered and had some stuff done to it before we got it.. It sets in the garage next to my Swivel seat kombi. Were doing some stuff to it right now...the 36hp is out getting resealed and cleaned, a few...and I emphasize A FEW accessories are going on it...here's a pic of it before my wife pulled the engine out. The car isn't for sale nor will it ever be for sale, my wife won't sell her cars...

Good news everyone, I undid all the unfortunate and horrific things done to the '60 rag - It took about 15 minutes. Even though I'm sure the big logo hub-caps and wheels will still draw some comments, rest assured they will be gone tomorrow when the tire shop opens and replaced with regular smoothies and small log hub caps. We can all breathe easy now - she's almost back to "normal".

Good job...Now lose the fruity "empi" mud flaps. I know you weren't responsible for the horrible clear coat, but that's when the og paint was ruined.

Wow .. take an old bug out of a barn and it develops a multiple personality disorder. Need to put together a collage of all the different looks this one car has had. |

Ooooooo....I like it!
Trade you my busted '63 bug sedan that has probably single-handedly revived the economy based on the number of times is has changed hands:D
You will probably want me to fix the weird noise it has been making first...
But really, the "barn find" looks worlds better than before. |

I'm always haunted by this car when people suggest that I "clear my patina" on my bus.
I don't hear anyone complain about the Jer Fab '59 that was cleared? Is that because it was done better?

Yes...that car was done right...when you clear over window rubber and fender beading its done wrong. I never planned on clearing that car ever. _________________ When the sun doesn't rise, we'll replace it
