Climb.

Ours is a Weekender so I picked up an RV ladder that's generally used to get into the bunk above the cab on Class C's

I climb up like an old monkey.

And get down the same way.

Chicks dig it.

The front table and the arm that support it basically never get used. I leave them at home. Once that obstacle is gone, access to the upper berth is easy. I step on the corner where the table arm goes in, then step on to the top of the kitchen unit (at the point furthest forward in the van), and from there, it's easy.
