I love that ad.
And look. Just below the wheel cover is Lind's Ghia grill. |

True vintage crap! They looked ugly and cheap then. I bet they look just as tacky now on a car. Hang those on your garage wall. Be glad you did not get a whole set. You can not be tempted to roll with them! |

jc whitney did have some good stuff.
I love that grill, but only on my ghia. I think it would look wrong on any other ghia. _________________ .

Another ad for the grill from Poly Pad Imports. Be careful Lind, according to the Poly Pad ad, people will confuse your Ghia with a Ferrari.

I saw that grill in a HotVW's mag from the mid 90's. It was on a Ghia that some big-wig in the design/development of the the Ghia was standing in front of. |

It actually gives it a bit of an Alfa Romeo look.
But, hey-- they're all Italian. |

LOL. I think that the ferrari confusion could have been in the price department on that car. (it wasn't cheap) _________________ .

Those look just like the ones I got from Sears back in the mid 70's. They are a little different than the ones from JCW. Those look like they held up well or werent on car too long. Or a second set cause the first hit the curb. _________________ cars come and go, VW's live and breathe! |

I remember a girl at my school had them on her fatchick, we always tripped how they poked out further than 4.5's called them 3.5's. One day she curbed the living shit out of the passenger side so we started calling them late 6's. _________________ GFK
