This is an interesting truck it has a late model rear window and fat dog legs, outward facing air vents, old style treasure chest door late model rear lights, is it a chnage over model? I didnt think the big window came in until Aug 66? _________________ 1954 Barndoor

Rich- Looks like a '62 that somebody hacked a '66/'67 rear window in to me. The late taillights, late blinkers, early doglegs, early wheel wells, outward vents is a combination we had here in the States in '62. _________________ Please check us out on Instagram at @holygrailgarage

It is an earlier truck (61/62? had a hump seat) with a 66 truck roof welded on. I did own this truck before. The PO was in the process of chopping the roof (roof was already cut off). It was such a solid truck (by our standards), and for a decent price I couldn't resist. I located the donor roof for it. I know it wasn't correct, but all I could find, and it was just going to be a work truck anyway. I ended up selling it. The next owner welded the roof onto it, and then it got traded to the guy in Bremerton.
Here's a pic of it without the roof
Funny thing I remember.....it had a legit 64 registration. Regi numbers matched ID tag and serial number on truck. I think it was a farm truck that someone didn't get registered right away (previously a BC truck). _________________ "Love and good roads" |
