hey Guys I checked out a 46 that was sitting in a garage in Delaware that had 1940 ford ones on it. My understanding was that they were robbing parts off of wrecked cars and using them later Mark D

Hi,
here are some pics of the orginal taillights of my 1950 bus ( #2469).
They are complett diverent then the lights of the 1945 or early 1946 beetle.
Bye the way - when you look at the books you can see a picture from 1946 wich shows the 1000 after war build beetle - it has the same headlights.
Our car was deliverd to the britsh army and my friend Bjoern found it in the early 90 th by east Berlin - it was in very bad shape.
The other pictures show the different heating in the back and in front - this is the same as KDF beetle have.
Bye Christian

Christian, You disapoint me now....NO PLAN ON THE WALL?
sorry, I could not resist it. But then again, this is a young and common beetle, like most of the splits.. Rolling Eyes .
You only need a plan with special body 's.

Like always a top job on both the body and drivetrain.

If you ever need a space to put a new car in....Call me. I come and pick it up. I will park it in my garage for free.... You know my favorit model. Laughing
Wish you all a merry christmas and happy new 38 year.

I would say walking into Christian's garage, for me anyway, would be like a 5 year old walking into Santa's workshop.

Really nice looking car. Love the high stance with the kubel chassis.
Kind of reminds me of Hermann Walters garage with the maniquins and paraphanalia
