Where do you buy the carbide cutters for your bars? I need to purchase several for my bars. Do you have a link/site that I can visit/see? Thanks.

I bought a set from NSRacing a few years ago, only as the PO had tried to bore the case with the dowel pins in.......otherwise cutting through mag you should never need them

Just picked up this Truline boring bar in original box!. Used only 5 times as noted by the piece of paper on the upper left hand corner
where the user marked the times he's used it. Incredible! Cheers Amigos. Laughing Mr. Okrasa

It’s been a while since anybody posted on this forum but today I came across a really good find. I purchased a full set of Truline boring bars and thrust cutters and what I had to buy as a package was what I believe is a bunch of left over parts from when Truline went out of business. I have like 50 or more boring bars some finished some half done and most of all the gears and alignment tools and drive systems. Anybody interested in some spare parts? I can provide pictures if needed.

Cool! I am sure there will be interest.
I'd like to have a 1.500 chromed bar for the early design type that uses the separate feed, or one close enough to adapt if there are any.

Rocky Jennings "Pocketrocket" here, has made parts for them and rebuilds them, perhaps he would be interested as well.

They are a race- shop, Modok. They do turbos and many VW large-displacement engines.

So you can ask forgiveness anytime. Very Happy

Oh, ok, cool.
I got a response all the bars are 1.490 diameter, and two lengths. 19" and 19-3/4
Do you suppose one is for type-1 and the other is type-4 or something?

I figured we could help you identify what it is you have, then you could make a classified add and sell it to who needs it. No ill will intended, can't see how it would hurt. Why keep it a secret? Is this stuff hot? Shocked
