Nope....Wide 5 BTR's. I wouldn't buy another set of them. The machining is so coarse I can't get them clean. _________________ Jerry...

Heres a little before and after pics, one with big fat slots and the other with chrome mods. I still have the slots, there vintage American Racing Wheels with the allen screws that hold the center caps in. Thinking about selling them though, there just taking up space. The cage is in the making, this is part A, part B to cover the rear.

Clean, simple, perfect.
I have a set at Rally America being widened as we speak, er post. Mine will be 15x4 (stock width) fronts and 15x6 rears with 165R15s & 225/75-15s respectively.

Those rears on the above car are at least 8" wide though, maybe 10". 15x6" aren't wide enough in my opinion. I was thinking about 15x12's for near future _________________ 1963 Ragtop Bug |

They are 10s. I am going for a late '60s early '70s look with a narrower rear tire.

It took me 5 years to decide on the correct look for me. I was undecided between the Craiger SS and old-school steels and moons. I went with old school (but brand new custom-made wheels and red lines).
Before (hated it):
After (love it):

I have your car as my laptop's desktop. Love the way it looks. The red lines really set off the blue paint.

Here is what I am running on my Manx II at the moment. 15x8's up front and 15x10's out back. I sent my stock steelies down to Custom and Commercial, they put the centers on new wider hoops and powder coated them.
The blue Manx II in the back ground will get the look of the orange manx LouisB posted with wider white steelies and Redline tires like 1madmanx. Or if I decide to not go original I may try a set of Chip Fooses Nitrous Grey's

This thread should be a sticky. Lots of good info on different wheel/tire combos.
Thanks,

Pacer wheels with a chevy patern from my local tire shop. I had pics posted earlier in this thread but it was just the pan with no body. I like 'em. They're different without being too modern for the car. 15x8 in the front 15x10 in the rear.
