adjusters are in the mail heading this way. I was reading your thread and wondering about how narrow to go. I run a 4" on my mango with sprint stars but it tends to rub. Am I right in reading that if stock crows are what your running 2" narrow is the way to go? _________________ Oil Capital Air Cooled

Yes, This was a big deal to me and several people I spoke to recommended me to leave it at 2" with stocks or stock crows feet because it keeps the wheels under the highest point of the bottom side of the fenderwell yet it still tucks hard. _________________ GFK

Is it a '55 or a early '56? Cool ass Bus for sure, Wolfsburg, and complete. Did you consider that those wires in the overhead airbox might have been for a ambulance fan? For some reason a lot of early early Buses that I have seen over the years got them including a '55 Standard, a '56 Kombi, a '57 Standard, and a '61 Westy all that I used to have among others. _________________ Please check us out on Instagram at @holygrailgarage

My figuring make it a March of '56. As for the wires I did consider the chance of abulance fans but the wires ran down the center post where, from what I've seen, ambos run down the a pillar and they went down all the way to behind the kick panels. Also there were like 3 wires and the dash had been hacked a bit. We think maybe some kind of CB or something. _________________ Oil Capital Air Cooled

Does it have a single position rear hatch, too? _________________ Please check us out on Instagram at @holygrailgarage

sorry for the lack of progress. We've had another bus up on the rack.
rolled it out tonight to get some fresh air.
As for the church bus the adjusters showed up today from CB and got welded on today. Also got a new center pin to install.
in case there was any doubt who made this beam
The spindels are getting pressed apart tomorrow and ground and gusseted. ought to be back together tomorrow too if I get on it.
After the spindels get finished the front end is gonna get a fresh coat of paint and get prepped for install.
Scored an original piece of big logo sekurit for the back hatch.
and, well, its only right
more as it comes _________________ Oil Capital Air Cooled
