Just like the topic states, I am interested in your opinions of a trike we just got done building. It is currently being re-assembled after paint and powdercoating. Please no flamers about trikes in general. Thanks in advance.

Speaking as a total ignoramus concerning trikes, my first reaction when I saw the picture was "Wow!" Looks pretty impressive, at least the back end. Is the front going to get a little more dressed up? _________________ Central Jersey VW Society

It's kind of hard to see in the pics cuz it was cold and we were in a hurry to take the pics, but there is quite a bit up front. The only really open area is where the v-twin motor would sit. We are still working on some ideas for that open area. As soon as we get it back together, I will post some more detailed pics. Thanks for your input. |

i'm really into trikes and i think it looks great. i have a couple suggestions. the fenders almost look like they are on backwards. also i think a chrome beer keg for a gas tank would really do it up. maybe a matching mini keg for a shifter.
if i owned that trike and anyone even tried to "flame" me, i'd drop her in reverse and run them over by accident. the last thing they'd see is my personalized license plate "2CRUNK4U"
btw, why don't this website have a trike category? _________________ Extravagant Lifestyle

yer trike is sweet. I like how the mirrors are the same shape as the tail lights - nice attentions to detaile.
But I think the front looks too empty and the gas tank is fake right? You should make a little secret door on the front tank that opens and you could put stuff inside. |

Thanks. I appreciate you noticing the shape alignments. The front tank is actually functional. I am still not sure if it will be hooked up upon completion. The paint and powder coating is done and we are reassembling it now. It should be back together by Sunday. |

Hey nice work!
Ive always dreamt of doing some sort of "Chopper" look on trikes, name it as TRIPPER (TRIke choPPER). Nice work....
I'd do one in mid engine configuration... hmmm has anyone done this before? _________________ Ask not what your bus can do for you, but ask what you can do for your bus.

Hello!
My name is Bojan, and I came from Slovenia (Europe). I am a Trike-maker. I can tell you that your Trike is very nice and brave build. In Europe you have no chance to drive it on the street. Here we have very unfair law. Lawmakers are crazy. |

Very nice job. I usually don't like trikes cuz they look like they are for old ppl (i'm 17 btw) but i really like this one's style. My grandad just built a trike but it has a full farring and is much larger. You did a great job keeping yours small and sleek. _________________ "the love you take is equal to the love you make"

OK - initial impression - hate the rear fenders - looks like an afterthought and there is a boat trailer somewhere missing a set...
Look at the nice rounded contours of the front fender. You need to pick that look up with the rears. Will look more "together."
Otherwise looks good - did a triple take on the taillights, but decided that I really liked them. I like that you picked up the taillight shape with your rear view mirrors. Constistency in shapes makes a custom work much better.....
Not trashing or bashing - you asked and I am giving constructive criticism. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

I like the rear boat trailer fenders. They match the lines and shape of the fan shroud and gas tank. Would love to see more pics of the trike once it has paint and finish. maybe some build pics if you have any to share. Keep up the great work. _________________ *1972 type 2 mystery camper* -GUS-
