The real answer to the question is what do YOU want for it. That and how much the buyer is willing to pay. _________________ '78 Champagne Edition II Westfalia

are they 36 or 40 okrasa parts? do you have pictures of them? do you seriously expect an honest answer from a whole bunch of people who would like to own these parts?

But alot of people out there think what they have is worth alot more than reality.
If you want top price put them on ebay - then you will know. _________________ Kevin "Wiggy"

Put them on Ebay, use Vintage VW and Okrasa in your listing title. Run the add for 5 days starting on say a Wednesday. Take lots of good pictures and post the best ones. Be honest about what you have. Sit back and watch the bidding. If you do not like what you see you can always end the listing early. Just make sure that you do so 12 hours before the listing ends. If you have a lot of "watchers" consider letting the ad run it's course. Good luck! _________________ Never drive faster than your Angel can fly

both 36 and 40hp engines use 77mm pistons. the difference is the spacing on the headstuds. if it will slide onto a 36 short block, then it is a 36 head. if it will slide onto a 40/1300/1500/1600/etc. shortblock, then it is a 40hp head.
the 40hp stuff is less desireable and less valuable, but still desireable and valuable. _________________ .

The head in the picture is a 40hp head. It is not worth nearly as much as a 36hp set. |

Dude, you've asked that question like three times already. Are you just going to keep asking until someone tells you the answer you want to hear? |

one million dollars......
actually, a setup like that is worth about $800-$1000. it would be worth more if it was a running engine, but these are loose engine parts. everyone wants 36hp okrasa stuff. the 40hp stuff is less desireable. my definition of an okrasa is the same power as a 1600 at ten times the price. this is no exception. a pile of stock top end engine crap would be worth $100 on a good day. I would be interested in buying if you are interested in selling. seriously, I have cash waiting, and I can have a friend of mine in st. louis come down and pick up the stuff this weekend. email or call me. my phone number is in most of my ads in the classifieds.
hows that? _________________ .
