I have a 77 transporter into which I am installing a Z bed and side closet from a 79. I am also looking into a kitchen from a 1980 Westfalia. I've heard this kitchen will fit with some modification. Has anyone done this?
Thanks,

anything will fit ith some modification..
all depends on ability, tools and determination of the Doer.
the vanagon kitchen's are thinner then the late bays. so you'll end up with a few inches more interior space.
you WILL have to make an opening in the outside sheetmetal for the fridge exhaust to vent.
there are various methods to hooking up the stove unit.
and the sink can be fairly straightforward.
i'm unsure on comparisons in width.. but by my eye it's fairly close.. I could measure the 2 when I get home tonight.
best of luck..

there is a threat on here somewhere... they did a great job. a lot of fine trimming of the cabinetry. I will look around...
