been slowly collecting parts and working on this car for almost 5 years now...

not using those steel vw trailing arms anymore I was gonna use narrowed ones so could tuck 16x7's but i've decided to use 944 turbo rear arms and go with custom offset wheels that are 8.5 in the rear and 7 in the front.

Whoa man!!! That's alot of engineering, and will be bad ass when it's done! Keep us posted on the work. Porsche powered vws are sweeeeettt!

Any updates?

Are you running a 915 or a 901? Just curious of what modifications might be needed for the shift linkage.

notcho-b is still about the same as before....it is on all four wheels again
i'm running a 915 and plan to use the 915 shifter and modified 911 shift rod with 2 sealed universal joints

also making plans for the rear tiebar/upper coilover mount trusbar/subframe thing...thinking aluminum tubing and heim joints... or something like that we'll see what my grey matter produces...

its comfirmed the fender will clear the oil tank no problem...need to make mounts and hoses.

next will be making the final cuts from the engine bay, installing a firewall and welding in the rear mounts for the engine. then make it shift properly...
