I have a 1971 super. and love it I dont drive it but I hope to make it my dd soon I put some 34mm baby dells on it and woke the motor up lol |

Agreed, supers are cool. They are the final evolution of the bug. How could anyone not like them. Yes, I like the look of older bugs better. But most drive like a log truck once they are lowered.
Personally, I like the bigger view from the driver's seat on supers |

I have a 67 and 77 standards and a 74 super.
The super is the Cadillac of them.It rides and handles like a dream.That being said, for some reason the 67 is still my favorite to drive. |

I have a early 72 SB.. it has/had drum brakes and is getting all new urathane bushings.I have seen here that youcan get ridof that45 mph shimmy with new front end parts...so as i pulledhe drums then the ball jounts then the sway bar ...control arm,tie rods,stearing dampner. I dont seem to be able to stop myself from taking things off cleaning and painting or just replacing... It is so muchfun !! _________________ Sat for 14 yrs, in garage. Now its time to bring it back. Front suspension, steering, bearings, and brakes, carpet, headliner seats Done! Turn around in the garage. CVs, bearings, disk breaks, Turn around again, fuel tank, and brake fluid container. Drained and filled transaxle,, set valves, new fuel pump and it started! Yahoo!! Two cups of rust blew out the muffler.HA! Pertronix SVDA and a Rebuilt 34-3 from Tim I'm on the road! |

Whenever possible fit hubcentric drums/rotors & wheels to your Super - the factory chose to on the later models. _________________ (3) '69's

Although im a big fan of the standard bugs for the dash design I absolutely love my super. I drove a 64 Standard for a little while and I love my Super even more after it! Its the Cadillac of bugs suspension wise. |
