That was posted on FB as well. I commented on the 59 front clip. "Never been hit"... must be referring to the 59 the front clip came off?

I've been hunting for an early rear seat back for awhile now. This has been in the classifieds for a long time...maybe this poster doesn't know early from late? Probably why it just hangs on out there in the overpriced, mislabeled category |

Commented to the seller that this was a 1958 material, not 1953. Made an offer of $125 based on that. Reply was “ if All Im getting is $125, it’s NOT Worth selling”. Then… put a price on it instead of Offers! |

This doesn't look restored to me, it just looks someone flip-canned everything.
The screw drivers are painted incorrectly for sure.
Also the spark plug tool is wrong for 1953... maybe other tools too?
I can't really tell due to the size of the photos.
The bag looks super clean and bright for an original, I'm wondering if someone made a new bag.

Beware. You may think this convertible front hood pull lock has the original keys, but they are not. Dummy cut them on Type 3 blanks!!
