...but the washer fluid nozzle has been refurbished!
perhaps it has survived all the tinkering of the previous owners _________________ "we're here on Earth to fart around" kurt vonnegut

I guess the price can be treated as a starting point... _________________ "we're here on Earth to fart around" kurt vonnegut

this guy constantly posts ads with little or no text. Seems like he's a buyer and re-seller. Today it's "HELP ME. I pay most high." I know english not likely his first language, but getting notifications like this on the edge of being sanctioned... or at least a stern warning. Typically he comes back later and edits them to finish them off. By the way, I've reached out to suggest he complete his ads before posting them.

Friend is considering doing deal and importing this car to US. Been negotiating for awhile and actually trying to have non VW friend actually go inspect in person.
Aside from obvious like taillights and front fenders, can the more knowledgeable weigh in? Seems like similar quality vehicles are available domestically.
My friend and I know just enough to be dangerous when it comes to the older year cars, and I would hate to see him not get what he thought he was buying at considerable expense.
Kindly be gentle, please. |

it does seem cheap for a decent looking oval ragtop, even after shipping and exchange rates are factored in, so it does make me wonder if it's full of bondo. I assume you, I mean your friend , has asked for photos of the patch welds?
is there a samba member in the hamburg area willing to check it over, I wonder? or contact a local club...

Cut from the ad "1 of 300 (out of 1,000,000 cars produced in 1954) made to USA D.O.T. specs."
This guy is very uninformed. |
