I used '68 beetle switches, mostly because I was able to get what I wanted with knobs that matched pretty good.

Very nice like the old old school, and back to the future. Where did you find small square switches?

I love those Aircraft Spruce (?) gauges. What is that rectangle screen under the hazard switch?

Looks like the screen for the headunit. See the 2 knobs to the left of it.

The three priorities are:
Steering, Stopping, Stereo.
The black rectangle is my radio.

BTW- The gauges are made by Westach; up in the wine country of the Golden State.

Any standard lighter outlet can be used to charge a phone.
My radio has a "Lightning Cable" plugged into one of the USB inputs for this purpose.

The European "Powerlet" socket is standard equipment on Things.
It is a DIN standard item which has been around for years (my BMW motorcycles from the '60's had them). There were accessory work lights that plugged in there, along with all kinds of other stuff.
Anyway, I don't use mine because the rubber cover is original from 1974, and I don't want to ruin it.

I have a secondary 12V standard American style outlet in the glove box, and the big rubber cover on my dash panel protects sockets for aux input and USB that came with the radio.

As "Q" used to say "We've made some rather interesting modifications".
