| has any one purchased a kit from either Topline, CB Performance, or Aircooled.net. If you have, how complete was the kit and how east or hard was the instalation(asuming you did it yourself). Thanks for the feed back. 72 super beetle |

I have used the Topline kit on my 72 super in standard 4x130 and now drilled and grooved 5x130 with pressed in studs. Never had a problem mechanically. The kit is very complete, and will bolt on. I did get a set of bad braided lines from them, but they were replaced at no cost.
Personally, I will only use Topline for my suspension. I trust them more than any other retailer out there. I have used their weld-a-struts, sport+ springs, disk kit, and I now run their MaXX struts. Everything I have of theirs worked as advertised.

Topline is now the only kit on the market with aluminum billet (not steel welded) caliper brackets. Their kit is complete and superior quality to others.
Topline also sponsors our Super Beetle car club and that's not why I say they are the best. I picked them as our sponsor because they are the best!

What is the advantage to going with disc brakes on the front. Super Beetles stop well with droms on all corners. I've been debating with myself on going with discs but haven't quite come up with a good reason. Any comments?

1)A They are self adjusting (VW drum brakes need to be manually adjusted).
2)In wet weather, you will have great stopping power because they are "self cleaning" and shed themselves of excess water and dirt. Drum brakes do not.
