What does the one on the left fit? It may be NOS.

See link above for descriptions.

BD Ambulance? - I'm assuming that that had a prop arm - and it would have been shorter because the size of the engine-lid was decreased on an Ambo?

50-51 props are different. They make the engine lid tilt higher in the air. The long piece is a little over nine inches and the short piece is seven inches. Is that the mystery one?

Measuring from the 90 degree end, the long piece is 7 1/2" and the short piece is 5 7/8".

What a 52-55 barndoor prop measure? I'm curious to find the difference between a 50-51 prop and a 52-55 prop.

The Barndoor 52-55 prop, 2nd from the left, measures 9 1/2" and 5 7/8".

The Barndoor Truck prop, 3rd from the left, measures 9 1/2" and 6 7/8".

Are the props on the lockers on single cabs the same length as the engine lid props?

They are the same length as the Barndoor Truck engine lid props.

No, I bought it from Gabe the key guy a couple years ago. This is not one of the ones he had that looked like someone had cut & welded them to change the length though, although there is one spot with a scrape or grind mark on the folded over edge.

WW used to have a stack of NOS Barndoor props but they were all the replacement style, i.e. not "thin".

Here's a pic of the NOS prop rods that WW was selling a couple years back. I bought a bunch of them back then. The one on the bottom was listed as BD replacement. The only difference I see is the shorter arm, but on a 56 SC I parted the treasure chest door prop was the same as the one on the bottom.

one of these came with my bd
- similar to the Barndoor 52-55 prop, 2nd from the left in Everett's pic, but measures 9 3/8" and 5 7/8", and has the 'fat' shape like the far right 55-63 decklid prop

Yes, the bottom ones are NOS Barndoor replacement latches.

They don't really mount right as you must bend or remove the little Barndoor prop guide plate to use it. My '55 Kombi had one of those when I bought it.

Yes, I believe it is.

If it's dark grey, it was probably an NOS replacement prop that was never painted.
