This should have been a red a flag but I have always had no issues with Samba sellers.
This guy has no telephone to call him.
He says no paypal just money order to a P.O. Box no street address
I have emailed him many times over the last few weeks. First he says he couldn't find the part then after a week he said he found it but didn’t mail it right away. Then said he mailed it, then he said his wife mailed it and “he” will send me a tracking number when “he” has time. Few more days have gone by and still has yet to give me a tracking number and I have not received the part.
It takes just 1-2 days to get anything from Portland to where I live. I am just a few hundred miles from him.
He has always had my phone number will not call me back.
It has been from the 10th when he got the Money order now is the 27th no call and no part.
I am still hoping to get my turn signal but the way this guy is giving me the run around I’m loosing hope and getting more and more pissed.
Shawn send me my turn signal or send me back my $50.00 !!!!!!!!!

He has done the same to me.Bought a speedo from him, he got the money on the 10th of march,now here it is the 27th.He does not e-mail me to keep me up to date at what's going on.He e-mailed me yesterday said it was shipped tracking number to follow,yea right!I feel i have been screwed.

Shawn Comstock has SCAMMED ME and STOLE MY MONEY!!! This bastard took $60 I sent him on a money order for a steering wheel over a month ago and still hasn't sent me my steering wheel. He responds to emails saying "its been shipped, tracking number to follow" and I still haven't received my item. I'm pissed!!!

Add me to the "hosed" list. I send Mr. Reliable $100 for a vintage rear stop light on Feb 25th and have been getting no response or the classic "shipped, tracking num 2 follow" ever since.

No I can't say I have, I actually use the search button, and buyer and seller feedback before buying or selling anything. All I am saying is that Everett and the moderating crew do a pretty damn good job of keeping people informed!

When it's a part you really need,you don't want to waste time or someone else will steal it from you.It's a gamble i know but that does not excuse shawn's behavior.This site is for honest vw enthusiast,not for scam scum!

OK, I'm tired of giving this guy chances.
If you've been SCAMMED by Shawn Comstock, please email Postal Inspector Jose Morales at [email protected] and explain to him what has happened. The more people that do this, the better. It's the only way we can recover our money, shut his PO BOX down and possibly prosecute Shawn Comstock for FRAUD!
Postal Inspector Jose Morals can also be reached by phone at: 503-279-2078. I've spoken with him, he is a very nice guy and willing to help us if we do our part! Please get in touch with him if you have been scammed by Shawn Comstock!

I got my part in the mail today as well. I couldn't even believe it. There's not excuse for what he did though. It shouldn't have gone this far... Hope everybody else either gets their money or their part...

I got my parts quik,but could tell he was a "bull $hitter"for sure.as for you guy's not getting your stuff..that sux.so type in"vw bug"in"all for sale",portland oregon craigslist.he often sales on there,he'll freak out thinkin the guy,s he owes are following him...  hopefully this will help you guy's still waiting for stuff
