only after painstaking research when building mine, which often makes zwitters so unique, and so wonderful when you see a really good restoration.
Not picking on Randy, just a buyer who might pay that much for a car might want to know what's not right if they expect a fine restoration |

odd that there's that much gap under the seat back when mating to the bottom? That stitching doesn't line up well, so maybe the backrest isn't straight?

it was bugging me too that when flipped up to see the battery (why you'd weld a bolt in the wrong spot to hold an optima battery rather than a correct 6 volt battery??) that the springs on the underside are from a later seat bottom. (which is why it might fit so poorly?) Should be all coil springs, not the zig zag type. (and the paint runs on the tunnel are a nice touch too for a $75K car)

and you can buy these semaphore "accessory lights" https://www.ebay.ie/itm/Vtg-semaphore-replacement-...1581239085
for about $100
where a real set for correct restoration runs $1000-$1500 for nice ribbed or grooved ones. To get this car "correct' is probably $10k to fix as the missing parts are all expensive |

Mika thank you for assisting me. Looking at your picture and comparing with my filler, I come to the ascertainment that the curve of the tube of my filler is like that of the later one.
So my filler has been shortened, you may call it a hack.
I will mention this in my ad and will lower the price ('') ('') |

The numbers suggest a December 1949. Several things look off to me including the wheel clearance in the fender openings, but the wheels are maybe 15". Hubcaps are wrong, inside door handles, bumpers and bumperetts should not be shiny chrome. That paint sure does look too light for gray.
Wrong air cleaner, strange coating on the engine firewall and sides, taillight wiring is wrong, Taillights are wrong, oil filler is wrong,
Trunk release knob is odd, accelerator pedal should be small roller.
Is that speedo correct?, that back seat bottom/back gap means one of the cushions is wrong.
Door latches are incorrectly painted as are the fender bolts. Headlight rings should not be chrome. Horn should be on the outside of the fender I believe, backs of glove boxes are strange
And the trunk liner was assembled upside down |

I agree with all the wrong details that have been identified. I think, however, that I was able to see the chassis and body number in that one straight-on photo of the trunk.
By playing around with the brightness and contrast, I think I was able to make out chassis 1-0104722 and body number 54252. Checking with various tables, they all point to a May 1949 built car, which would correspond with the football mirror and small fuel tank, as well as the flat area behind the spare tire. The engine number that is given in the description (1-0135937) also corresponds with May 1949.
