I particularly like how people shove the word "hoffman" into their ads and double the price.

I'm not sure how being a Hoffman cr would add any value?
At this point in time it should be all about vehicle condition.
Corrections on that welcome, in case I'm not aware that being from a particular dealer means something.

I think there is some amount of interest in knowing your car was one of the very first imported into the USA.
Of course the birth certificate is required to prove it. |

| I wondered what the Hoffman hub-bub was about. I have a German delivered split and I know in the vintage Porsche world most folks prefer the Euro cars over the US market ones. Maybe not so much in the early 1950s, but in the 60s, 70s, and 80s "US market" means "US DOT messed up the car" |

Does anyone know where I can find some NOS field coils or even the part number for my 1952 Bosch generator? I was in the process of rebuilding my 6 volt original generator when I noticed the wires were bare leading to the field coils. I have looked on line with no luck.

One is supposed to be bare. You can get the cloth covered wire from Rhode Island wire.

Probably not even a Zwitter. The dash makes it a 54 and up with an split window added.

I noticed the ashtray, but I didn't see that it is missing the starter button.
So indeed probably a '54-'55 oval body. |
