How many of you have found a classic VW in a barn? It looks like those barns were made just to stock VWs??! It has become a legend like it is not OG if not from the barn? It gives a patina to the car!!? _________________ Oval 1954

The 72 I just sold was a chicken coup next to a barn, I guess that counts right? _________________ Looking for a 58 euro hardtop! |

I bought two splits out of barns, here is the second one, the first one was too dark and crowded for a picture, this one is in California now, I still drive the first one

How does one find an old VW in a barn? I drive up and down the countryside in Oregon and am always peering out into the woods and at old ass brokendown barns for a glimpse of an old bug! I have seen 2! A 69' and a 71'. I want to hunt VW's and restore them for a living!!!!! I swear my heart is in the shape of a bug!!!!!!!!!! |

Did you notice the wheels on the 914?
Sure look like 5 bolt Gas Burners. That means it's a 914-6. _________________ Glenn

Were there a bunch of fiberglass molds stored in there too? Old molds for mini-golf hazards and signs and stuff? |

Didn't the 914-6 have the wider fender in the rear, or was that just a common modification? |
