remote starter attachment

Hi,

How do attach a actron cp 7853 remote starter to my van? It is a simple trigger in a housing and a single wire with two alligator clips on the end. The instructions that came with it have directions for 5 or 6 different types of ignitions; I just don't which, if any, apply to the vanagon. Also, I have GoWesty starter in my van.

You mean the button with two clamps?
Usually they go on the two big posts sticking out of the solenoid.
