We all tend to shy away from Weld Wheels, mostly 'cause of the word "Weld." It reminds us of the work still needed to do on our rusty pans . . . it's sort of a flinch response really.

15x6 welds for VW are usually 3.5” back space. Not sure who they consulted on that.

At the time I purchased these in the mid 90’s, there was two offsets offered for the 6”. One that would set it more inward and one more outward. I chose the back spacing that would set the wheel more out. Cannot remember the actual number, but I believe today they only offer 3.5” on the 6” wheels. However, I got rid of those and changes the wheels and running boards. I wanted a wheel I could get inside the stock gyro to Super Beetle fenders.
