Greetings! I am hoping somebody can help me find a part for my 1980 auto Westy. I am looking for an adjusting rod (part of accelerator linkage) for my van. New or used - no matter. Right now there is some jury rigged pole on there and my AT does not hit passing gear as it should. I have put up with this thing for too long and now that I want to fix it right, I can't seem to find any accel linkage parts for an aircooled Vanagon.
Thoughts?

| I may have what you need. I am currently installing a used AT in my 88 westy. The new/used tranny year is unknown but I think the rods were all the same. I have an extra. PM me and we can figure something out. I am located in WIsconsin. |
