Saw a few late 60's early 70's NSU's at Carlisle import show two years ago.. newer Prinz's are way better looking and almost sporty, hard to find parts for though..... _________________ The biggest risk is doing nothing. |

Trust me... It runs and drives NOTHING like a Notch... More like a rollerskate made from coffee cans. _________________

What a pile of crap!!! I cannot believe someone would have the audacity to compare that eye sore to an ingeniously engineered and beautifully styled masterpiece!!! |

Q: Why do Trabis have heated rear windows?
A: To keep your hands warm while you push it.

This joke is not funny in English.
Note: OssieDeutsch—Eiern=wobbeln (as in eggs, which wobble)
Ossie culture is being lost. It's a sad thing.
Anyone know of a Trabi in the US? Or did they all get sent to the paper recycler in 1992? _________________ Be kind…

I don't know that the Trabant was ever sanctioned for the US. I doubt it. We don't like Communists because they don't buy our products. _________________

There are a handful of Trabants in the USA. I've got a Trabant 601 that I use as a daily driver in Los Angeles. And I love my Trabi!
You can find a handful of others at:
http://www.geocities.com/trabantusa/
But I'd estimate only roughly about 50 Trabants in the USA total. |
