Not sure when I'll have my BD back, so decided to make a new one, about 1/4 scale. This is the first part of a mock training model I am building to hang in the garage. It will have a front and back view with a mock speedo pod and controls, working semaphores and the whole bit...mounted on a large wooden box. Below is a real training model from a driving school in Germany that was my inspiration.
Linda already has asked if he can use it during his lectures at the OCTO meets.

Anchovy...........I am starting to wonder if you are Linda in disguise too? Doing all that stuff takes up allot of time!!! Or your just fast??
Any Hoot, hope you get your bus back soon. That is one cool bus. You should bring it to Linda, he's got all the time in the world to put it back together! You know what I mean, Right? |

Il Capo, If I were Linda that would also mean I am Rock Stock....therefore I should be able to get three times as much work done.
As for time, I mostly do this type of hobby work in parallel with other activities like taking a dump. I have a work bench, computer, library, refrigerator and microwave installed in my bathroom to make life more efficient. You'd be amazed at how much lost productivity there is while just sitting idle on the toilet. Right now I am typing this post with my toes as I use my hands to widdle a scale model of the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria inside a wine bottle. |
