I recently purchased a nice looking Hurst from a Samba member, not Glandnut. When I went to install it, I had a 3-4 lockout instead of a reverse lockout and it was springloaded to the 1-2 side instead of the 3-4 side.
Looking through a bunch of gallery pics, I decided one of the parts on the shaft was installed 180 off and proceeded to try to remedy the situation.
After deciding I didn't want to tackle this blind, I PMed Jeff for some technical help.
His response? Send it to me and I'll fix it for a very modest price. I Couldn't reach the original seller for over a week, so I sent it to Jeff. It came back fixed and with a few bonus features to impove it even more. As a bonus, the original seller finally contacted me and reimbursed all my expenses to Jeff and back.
Couldn't recomend him more as an asset to the aircooled community. |

I'm so glad I made the wise choice of contacting Jeff from the start as I can quite easily say I've ended up with something so much better than I could have got or hoped for, the RHD version was definitely the way to go, my smoked, bent, vintage Hurst shifter looks feakin awesome!!!
Thankyou so much for your patience, help, advise and of course great product Jeff. Also thanks for the extra gear knob, base cover and stickers which I didn't even ask for, also much appreciated!!
Another happy customer, good Buddy!
Sincerely,
Greg

I'm so stoked that I pulled the trigger to have Jeff rebuild my Hurst shifter. I had attempted to rebuild it myself, and without his help, I would have never been able to finish it. Jeff was very easy to communicate with, had the shifter done in only a few days and did an awesome job.
I also had a ton of questions for him, all of which were answered quickly and courteously. I would gladly do business with him again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have their shifter rebuilt!
Thanks Jeff! _________________ '67 Squareback

I asked Jeff if he could help me with some replacement parts for my Hurst Shifters. Jeff hooked me up! Within a few days everything he promised and more was at my doorstep. I would not hesitate to buy from him again. _________________ * 57 Bus * DD Panel

I've dealt with Jeff several times in the last few years. Jeff installs my shifter reinforcement plate in some of his rebuilds.
As expected, the deal always goes well. Communication is perfect! _________________

Finally convinced my 17 year old son he would really like a Hurst shifter from Jeff. The copper one came today for his '69 Square. I texted the photo to him at school. He is excited. This is the third or fourth shifter we have purchased from Jeff. As always, it's a great deal and top customer service! _________________ '72 Bus |

I bought a Hurst Copper Trigger Shifter on here and had the seller send it directly to Jeff. About 2 weeks later, it was sitting in front of my door. I haven't installed it yet, but it's been sitting on my kitchen table since I got it last week and everyone who's seen it couldn't help but stop and admire it. I may just leave it there and use it a centerpiece _________________ '65 T1

The thing about Jeff is that, he not only rebuilds theses shifters to better than new perfection, but he communicates better than most sellers I've dealt with and that goes a long way in my book. I will most definitely use his services again and recommend him to anyone who needs a shifter rebuild, parts, knowledge, etc.
The shifter I sent him was in great shape with hardly any wear. When Jeff was done with it, it was better than I had expected it to be. Like the post above^ ...I can't stop looking at the damn thing!! _________________ Justin |

I received my copper shifter from Jeff and it looks great. I had to purchase a donner shifter due to a bent shaft. I wanted to keep the patina and thats exactly what I got. Its ready to be installed in my rat ghia. Scat shifter out and one bad azz Hurst in. Will be sending my other Hurst to him to get it rebuilt also. Thanks |

I am remiss here, a late shout out to Jeff, great experience purchasing an elusive single port/dual carburetor manifold. Packaging was most impressive.
