|
|
I bought this EMPI GTV looking steering wheel that I installed on my Type 3 SHARKY. But, honestly, I am in a quandary as to whether who made this and what is its brand. Anyone can help me on this.
TY,
DONGKG

That is exactly what I was going to say. It looks more like a ford cobra steering wheel to me. _________________ 71 sqbk, 1641cc dp engine, manual trans |

you never know with after market wheels some time. are there any stamps or marking on the wheel. that might make it easier to track it down.
I hate to say just becuse it was in a vw doesn't mean it for a vw.
Just go down to any parts store. Now days Lets say concord in waltermart in makati. they have 20 different steering wheels hanging on the wall. you pick the wheel you like then a boss kit for your car. then you just take it home and put it on.
that how it was for vw wheels back in the day. Some wheels where decent and some not so decent.
it does have a kinda empi /nardi look to it. but those wheels are fashioned after the 60 and 70 style. |

That is well-taken, bro. But I have seen this on the forum.

I believe it is a universal wheel for Volkswagens. Although, this is still opne to other opinions. _________________ '67 KG Cabrio (Mickey) ;

It could be a Grant universal VW/Chevy/Ford from the 60's? You should rub warmed linseed oil/turpentine mixture @ 3 to 1 ratio on your wood wheel to keep it nice! |
