The VW "Auto -Stick" was more of an "Auto Clutch" in that when you put touched the gearshift the clutch was hydraulically engaged or disengaged. You still had to select your gears in the traditional "H" pattern. Not a setup for those who like to rest your hand on the shifter. Laughing

This appears to be a bus transplant.

Yes the original pictures were taken somewhere near Larry's house in Chandler. The owner must have traded it in for a car Boyd Coddington had for sale. Vince
