Is the date correct for the Woodburn show? It shows for the 2nd of June, that's a Saturday. _________________ '63 Ragtop |

That is correct. June 2nd is the Woodburn show, swap, and races. June 23 is the Summer Solstice Show in Shine at Tumalo State Park (4 miles west of Bend, Oregon). _________________ '62 Bus named Biscuit

I'll be heading up next weekend...taking Friday off, spending the weekend in Eugene with family. Anymore, Woodburn is my sole VW event of the year, given where I live in south-Central Oregon out in the middle of nowhere. Last year it was certainly worth the drive, and I can only hope it'll be the same case this year.
Plus, I get to pick up my bargain basement 2.0 liter alloys (real deal, not repops) which will go on my ongoing project '70 Bug. Woo hoo! |

We're debating on staying Friday night or Saturday night, it's only a 45 minute drive but we plan on having a few "refreshments". Is there stuff to do on Sunday or is most of everything Saturday? This will be our first time at any kind of meet and i would like to meet anyone from here to put a face with the writing. |

As soon as i got home I am starting to put the new 2110 motor together.
I know Chico built me a nice one.
And now I have my 1600 long block for sale. G01 heads full flow as41 case about a 1000 miles on it. My Dells just were to much for a 1600dp.
If anyone is interested I will be at the Woodburn show this weekend...I could bring it with me. Price ? Show me the money...
