First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has helped me in the forum and in PM's. It is nearly done now and down to the fine points.
This is my last serious problem with the car, and lets see if you can help me through this one. I have everything electrically working on the car except for the hazzards. The turn signal switch works turning left and works turning right as long as I dont press it all the way to the right (a new one will be ordered) When I pull the hazzards out I get nothing on the outside of the car and a solid green arrows on the dash. If I wiggle the knob even that will flicker. Knowing this, I ordered a used switch and installed it, and it's the same problem. I hear the relay click once So the relay and wires to the lights all work....hazzards wont work...and I have tried 2 switches...where should I start?

Sounds like the hazard switch relay is at fault. It's located behind the left dash panel. It may only be dirty inside, so try opening it up and blowing out the 35 years worth of dirt and dust. |

I'll do that.....but if it's working for the turn signals...shouldn't it be working for the hazzards? My relay is a 3 prong, not the 4 prong that the wiring diagram calls for...is there a diference in wiring?
