Hadn't thought of doing the berg linkage, what color did you do that in?
Same as the tin? |
No but I should of. I had Clark get it close as possible to the silver finish and boy did it come back pretty, awesome finish. But I'm going to do it in black---it will look better. This is my first experience with powdercoating and I already caught myself earlier in the garage walking around my bug and the new engine parts, glass of wine in hand, wondering what else I can can send to him! _________________ 1967 Bug (Second owner) |

Sure. Give me a few days and I'll put up some various pics of the linkage and tin, no problem. _________________ 1967 Bug (Second owner) |

Yikes!
My bad. I travel a lot and am just back from an overseas trip. I absolutely promise to snap some shocking, graphic, never before seen, totally revealing pictures of my beautiful linkage and tin work this weekend! PM me so I don't forget! _________________ 1967 Bug (Second owner) |

Here are the overdue pictures of my tin. I had Clark do it in the matte black finish and the quality is excellent. The pictures do not do it justice. This is just a small sampling of what I purchased---I actually bought every piece of tin I could get as this is a new engine from scratch. Also had him powercoat the support bar for the Berg linkage and also weld in AN fittings into the valve covers for vents (the proper way to do it). Excellent vendor, nice guy. Deserves the biz.

Clark is stand up. Bought some caps and rotors off of him, price was spot on and shipped very quickly.
Too bad other Samba sellers don't follow suit as the way Clark handles business, maybe they might learn about how to do business like it should be done.
btw-that powdercoat looks great
thanks again Clark

Amen to that. He is helping me to properly configure the lower tins now and his patience and help in trying to put right the crap tin that is made these days (and sold by others) is really appreciated. Good show Clark. _________________ 1967 Bug (Second owner) |

Today I get home and arrived to my puma shroud/thermostat flaps kit from Clark. He is a really stand up guy that runs a tight ship of a business. Honest straightforward, and speedy are qualities that clark possesses. All parts were brand new just as described. Thanks Clark, you will be my only choice for engine tin from now on. _________________ It is what it is. |
