I'm getting ready to replace the heater channels in my 69 sedan. My question is how do you get the heater arms that go on the inside of the car off? The Bug me guys forgot to mention that you have to remove your wiring harness from the back to complete this installation. Arrrrrrrgh! |

Are you talking about the black Y pipe with holes in it that is covered in insullation? If so, there is a screw in it. Take the screw out and it will slid forward or back and come off. _________________ Contact me at [email protected]

I can see holding it out of the way toward the back where the harness runs into the body but how were you able to replace the heater channel when the harness runs down inside the front of the car and through a hole in the heater channel and back out again? I have a 1969 sedan. |

There are not that many wires running through that harness next to the tunnel. I would mark the wires and un-plug them at the fuse panel. I wouldn't want to snip up a new piece of metal. _________________ Contact me at [email protected]
