So some of the interior is starting to show its age and i was wondering if anybody else has had to deal with this/what they did to fix it. It looks terrible and is just getting worse with each passing day.

Pick up some 2" aluminium angle, mitre the ends to match the seat risers and put a strip of black or gray anti-skid tape on it. Screw it into the original holes. Done!

Great idea, guys. Now what do I do with the same vinyl strip on the battery hatches? Mine are split, and I'd like to pretty that up, too. Ideas?

Of course I'd love a new carpet set, but it's not in the budget now. Maybe never.

The carpet kits GoWesty sells (made by SewFine) are pretty bitchin'. I like mine a lot. Quite a bit of work to install, but very nice. Lots of pics if you click the link in my signature.

You know what's weird? I've got the rubber mat set from GoWesty as well, and with my stock carpet, they stayed put really well. With the new carpet, they slide all over the place! Gotta get some double sided carpet tape or something in there...
