25 new Hub Cap clips installed on 5 of 6 wheels off to sand blasting and then powder coating.

On our way back, I wasn’t aware that the old Sinclair gas stations were still around!

I just did this too, it's very satisfying.

Got it a trophy yesterday... or a giant belt buckle. We took home the Save Acworth History Foundation choice.

Really looking fun and together.
Decided to file the '67 Westy's points, clean the cap contacts, replace the plugs and set the timing. Well...#4 sparkplug wouldn't tighten. Spent the day teaching myself how to do the Save-A-Plug tool and insert. It worked fairly well and time will tell. At least #4 is the easiest to work on. |

That looks like St George Utah. We have Sinclairs all over up here. |

I installed some WW pop out window rubber to the frame of the body today and noticed that they provide plenty of extra rubber that you have to cut and glue back together. I ended up cutting at the area that they had originally glued their section together once I found out that they had too much slack. It fit pretty snug and I don't think it'll require glue to hold it in place but we'll see. _________________ 1959 Type II Mango SO-23

Weird, I wonder if something changed because I've installed those and they were snug but fit with no trimming _________________ How to Post Photos

I’ll take a wild guess that it will eventually shrink! _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |

Finally got a cover for the bus. Now that I rent I no longer have the safety and cover of a garage. This is the 4 ply Wolfsburgwest cover.
There seems to be a stitched area with a grommet on each side. Is that if I want to poke a hole and use a bungee cord to hold it down? _________________ Arachibutyrophobia- Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth.

I believe it is to throw a cable and lock on it so no one can just pull it off. _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |

Have you considered simply starting with a nicer bus? I don't know what your skills are, but the race is easier if you can see the finish line. If you are not a runner, don't start off doing a marathon. |

... I splurged and vowed myself to this brand forever: I put an optima in the bus! I have really had it with all that other stuff.
Also I installed some engine fire retardand system or whatever it is called.
Wonder if the Made in Germany will do any good ...

No. It's vintage 1969. _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |
