Alright, I did a search and didn't come up with anything. Does anybody know what percentage of cars ended up with ragtops? Or, is there a way of finding out exactly how many per year were produced?

Volkswagen knows. Call them. I've never seen published reliable information on the split between ragtops and hardtops.
