What fits specifically late type 3? since they have flush dash not recessed like early.

The Blaupunkt Wolfsburg III from 1970 is a good choice, but you'll need to find the correct bracket.

I wouldn't mind that plastic mount Wink

without it all radios look likes dogs balls.

I wonder if it possible to get a mount like that to work with a retro sound radio. Would be nice for FM, AM is useless here.

Mike, are there any Fm radios that fit that bracket in the 2nd pic of yours?

seem to only be AM radios in the classifieds that would fit that bracket.

much searching I found this mob.

http://www.garytayman.com/index.html

So far I am only finding AM sapphire III radios for late models, which is fine as they look nice and fit nicely and have plastic face bracket. problem is they are all AM.

Might be worth looking into once I get hold of a radio.
