These and dozens more are rotting away out back of this guy's property. He had a few split busses and Type 3s out front too but I can't see them anymore, except for one sticking out a falling down building.

Was fully restored, tree fell on it years ago in a friends back yard. The oval roof was saved when the local vw mechanic decided to scrap the car. It was hacked apart and in the back of a truck ready for the smelter. Atleast the roof was saved.[/img] |

Sounds like a pretty good match there -- cut the felled tree to get the restored car out, chop off the smashed roof, then graft on the saved oval roof. _________________ 1960 Ragtop w/Semaphores "Inga" |
