That had been filmed by someone else several years ago, and even then the vast majority of the contents were rotten junk. _________________ nothing |

steelz, did you see these yourself?
Red "baja" Ghia turned a princess into a pig. Probably had some huge all-terrain wheels when it was "active" to add to the Baja look and used in Canadian fields. Notice the face made up of various VW parts such as the lips from 1960's Beetle rear bumper towel bars, and the nose from a Type 1 spare tire well inspection plate. It's so unusual that I saved it to my computer. |

Yes, it looks like Chipps' place to me as well. Didn't they all get crushed?

Yes I did, it was just outside of Tilsonburg Ontario Canada.
I went back for a second look with my better camera and bumped into the owner who agreed to let me in and take all the pictures I wanted. Super nice guy who told me everything was going to be auctioned off.
I can post more once I get my new laptop sorted.
I was back in that area a couple of years back and it’s all gone, nothing left whatsoever. |

It has to be the same place.
I don’t remember there being much American stuff, mostly VW.
There was one car I could not figure out what it was.
My pictures are all stored on my work laptop which is being upgraded tomorrow. Once it’s done I will post the picture to see if anyone can help me out. |

That's great. The owner was John Chipps. The photo of me is from about 1984.
Here's the dedicated thread:

My apologies for dragging out an old thread. I’m still kind of new on this forum.
Thanks for the link.
Very interesting place.
Anybody out there help me out with this?
It’s the only car I couldn’t name. |

It looks like an Auto Union.

Agree. Suicide doors! Amazing what diverse German cars made it to North America in the '50's and early '60's.
