I'd be interested to know how they do this.
My guess would be they have a fake web site that looks like eBay escrow but is not. It probably grabs more personal information from you too, so they can steal your identity or credit card #s, or whatever. |
Ebay does not operate an escrow service, so he's lying right up front.

Good point - I was thinking they mean one of the eBay "approved" escrow services.

Funny, he has yet to respond to my cash offer.
I think I'll offer to pay through his ebay escrow service.
