I did a quick look and it seems like this might be just what i get for not going German. Anyway though, i'm trying to install my Eurosport muffler and i cannot get the bottom of the flanges to sit even close to flush with the head.

A lot of times you'll need to heat them up and bend them a little bit.

that's insane. The heater box pipes are supposed to slip back and forth a bit inside the bottom tube of the muffler right?

I braze mine closed, but I think you're supposed to have a gasket in there.

I decided a LONG time ago after years of lieing under various cars with crap getting in my eyes and fighting with exhaust parts and swearing that I'm too old for that S*** and if I can afford it will from now on get SOMEONE else to do exhaust stuff because I have nothing to prove anymore and have had ENOUGH!! HAHAHAAA!!!

Problem is......

I don't trust shops...... Very Happy

I recently put on a new german muffler and it was not a perfect fit...a little rubber mallet "BUMP" here and "BUMP" there and after awhile she lined up enough to tighten the screws down and she has been fine so far.
