Have any of you guys fitted a steering damper to your barndoor? If so, how did you attach it to the idler pin arm? I know when they were first attached to split buses there was a simple clamp around the arm, but there are lumps on the arm to stop the clamp sliding. Any thoughts?

Mine had a one fitted when i got it. Not the best job but they had added a bracket on the end of the steering arm, long bolt through it and a barndoor shock mounted on its side and bolted somewhere, i forget where now.
you can see the small bracket here at the very top

An old thread I know, but has anyone with a steering damper fitted to their Barndoor replaced the damper? If so which one was used. My bus came with one, and am planning to re-fit it at some stage.
