I have been having a small seep from my power steering reservoir for the last couple of moths so today I thought I would look and see what was going on.
While removing the reservoir one of the 35 year old plastic stubs snapped off. Looking for a replacement I find that all the regular vendors are out of stock.
My question is if the reservoir pictured and link below would work.

You can make anything work, but where does the filter go?

If you Google BMW PS reservoir, you could find a much cheaper and easier to source option.
