good luck - they are super rare, so you may not even find one for sale...but if you do, prepare to pay...
you would probably have better luck importing one from Europe somewhere if you can find one over there...

I currently have a Frid for sale in the UK. Check the ad section for DR Slam. Shipping would be about 1200 pounds to the US.(rough guess).

IIRC there was a package deal with 2 for sale in rough/project condition somewhere in California in the last 6 months/year or so. For some reason I'm thinking they were in the $8000 range? They are around. If you want a real challenge, try finding a 1969 411 2dr. sedan.

i won a fridolin on ebay for 2000 in texas in the auction he said no motor or windsheild so before i bid i emailed him and asked him if it was missing anything else he answered 2 hours before auction end and said told me "Bid quick 2 others are bidding ebay offline" whatever that means
so i got it for starting bid of 2000 so i ask for his phone number he sends it to me the next day so i call him no answer he calls me back a couple hours later and says something about me calling him about a bug motor but i recognized the area code so i said "are you in texas? i bought the fridolin from you on ebay" and then he paused and said "uhh well let me tell you about that i told me sister to put 3500 but she acidently put 2000 i tried to call ebay but they dont have a phone number i already sold it for 3500 a few days ago" i told him oh alright bye

i realized later that he was TOTALLY BULLS**TING ME

Here's one for $5300, but it's been on here for months. If you're serious about a frid, money should be the least of your worries. Most frid parts are very hard to find which makes a project 10x more difficult than a bug, which is no walk in the park on its own. Keep us posted.
